Get the golden hour alert on Apple Watch
Turn on the alert in the watch app's Today page, or on your iPhone or iPad in Settings under TOOLS. It taps you 15 minutes before each golden hour and before the evening blue hour.
Step by step
- On the watch, open Cutvey Meter and scroll to the foot of Today.
- Turn on Alert. The line under it reads 15 min before.
- Allow notifications when asked. On iPhone or iPad, the same switch is in Settings under TOOLS.
If that didn't work
The alerts are planned up to a week ahead and never fire before the pre-dawn blue hour. While a paired watch is announcing, the phone stays quiet. The watch app comes with the iPhone app and needs it installed.
