Change the units Meter shows
Settings, under DISPLAY, sets how Meter writes times, light levels, ND, the shutter and the stop, and whether EV shows. Each row has an Example line with the result.
Step by step
- Clock: 12-HOUR or 24-HOUR, for every time in the app.
- Light: LUX or FOOT-CANDLES. One foot-candle is 10.76 lux.
- ND: OD, STOPS or FACTOR, so the same filter reads ND 0.9, ND 3 STOPS or ND8.
- Shutter: ANGLE or SPEED. Stop: T-STOP or F-STOP, which changes the label only.
- EV: tap EV100, EV400, both or neither, for a bubble under the confidence badge when you shoot stills.
If that didn't work
None of these change what is logged: light is always stored in lux and as EV at ISO 100. Meter cannot convert a T-stop to an f-stop, because the difference is the lens's own light loss.
