Set up your rig for the ND answer

Tell Meter your ISO, stop, shutter and frame rate once, and it keeps the ND to drop in on screen as the light changes, from ND 0.3 to 2.1, rounded to the whole stop.

Step by step

  1. Tap the sliders button at the end of the strip under the reading to open RIG.
  2. Under CAMERA, set the frame rate, ISO, stop, shutter, any exposure compensation and the ND on lens.
  3. Point at the scene. The strip leads with the ND answer and shows what is left over.
  4. To keep your ND and change something else, pick ISO, stop or shutter under SOLVE FOR.

If that didn't work

Past seven stops the answer is a stack, with the total density. If you would rather read ND as stops or as a factor like ND8, change the units in Settings.
