Which lens should I meter with?

Use the lens you calibrated, and stay on it for readings you want to compare. Each camera on your phone is its own sensor, so two lenses can read the same light a little differently.

Step by step

  1. Tap a lens chip above the readout: ULTRA, WIDE, TELE or FRONT. Meter shows only the cameras your device has.
  2. Wait for the reading to settle again. Switching lenses starts the reading over.
  3. Log on the same lens each time. Meter remembers the last lens you used.

If that didn't work

RAW measurement is never offered on the front camera, and some phones offer it on only some of their back cameras. A calibration offset belongs to one lens, so set one for each lens you meter with.
