Take your first reading
Point the back camera at the light, or at a gray card lit by it, and wait for the badge beside the reading to say HIGH. Then tap LOG to save the reading with the frame you were pointing at.
Step by step
- On the first screen, tap Agree and Continue.
- If Meter is not yours yet, the next screen offers three ways in: buy it, Sign in with Cutvey, or Restore Purchase.
- Allow the camera when iOS asks. Meter needs it to measure the color of light.
- Point at the light you want to read. The kelvin and tint figures settle as you hold still.
- Wait for the badge to read HIGH, then tap LOG.
If that didn't work
If the badge stays at MEDIUM or LOW, hold the phone still, keep bright highlights out of the frame, and try GRAY CARD with a card filling the frame. The three-page measurement guide from your first launch is in Settings, under TOOLS, as Measurement guide.
